Four languages and one Russian footer

— Why is the footer Russian on the English page?

The home page already understood browser language, remembered manual choices, and used real /ru/, /en/, /kk/, and /fr/ addresses. The footer decided those rules did not apply to it.

We translated shared elements, hid source copy until language detection finished, and kept old links working. Search robots received clear addresses, while visitors stopped falling through a split-second language portal.
